Sonja Marzo, RMT, RYT, PN1

Registered Massage Therapist

Sonja graduated from the massage therapy program at D'Arcy Lane in London, Ontario. She earned her registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) in 2014. Since then she has also become a Registered Yoga Teacher and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach.

She is passionate about continued learning in the massage therapy field as well as providing professional care to her clients in a welcoming environment. She has treated a variety of clients ranging from children to retirees, expectant mothers, and dedicated athletes. Sonja thoroughly enjoys treating clients that have a keen interest in bettering their overall health. Her clinical experience is demonstrated in her competence treating many different conditions, however her particular interest lies in therapeutic relief of muscle tension, trigger point therapy, and headache/migraine relief.

Sonja incorporates the use of cups and RockTape (kinesiology taping) into her massage therapy practice. She is also an advocate for prescribing homecare for her clients so they have tools to help themselves between sessions. Sonja believes that proper nutrition and hydration, as well as a tailored fitness plan, and daily habit changes can be the difference of seeing her for pain management versus general maintenance (hint: this is the goal!).

In her spare time Sonja loves hitting up the gym, practicing acro-yoga, using her standup paddle board, and long hikes!

Sonja has a tremendous referral network and if she believes you would benefit from seeing a colleague of hers she would be more than happy to connect you!

Jim Blair, PTS, PN1, FRCms

Master Trainer & Nutritionist

My passion for fitness started more than 20 years ago when I joined GoodLife. Like most first-timers, I did not have a plan in place. After years with minimal results, I started adding other activities into my skillset. My first competition was a duathlon. I placed 10th out of 150 athletes: 4th in my age group. This lit the fire for me, and I started winning races not long after. I continued to compete in half marathons, triathlons, OCR’s, MTB races, and orienteering over the years.

My travels lead to living in New Zealand, where I volunteered as a Medical First Responder with St. John Ambulance and spent my free time rock climbing, surfing, snowboarding, running, biking and hiking. This is where I found my love for the mountains which lead to my adventures of climbing Machu Picchu and Mt. Kilimanjaro and several in NZ.

My vast multitude of training knowledge and experience will provide you with the confidence you need to start your transformation. This is my lifestyle. I don’t just talk the talk; I walk the walk. Ask yourself these simple questions: Do I suffer from pain and need work on mobility/stability? Do I want to train for a particular event? Am I looking for longevity and performance? If you answered YES to any of these questions, let’s get you in for an assessment and get started on your path to better living.

This is how I can help:

  • Canfitpro & ISSA Certified Personal Trainer

  • Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist

  • DTS Exercise Coach Certification

  • DTS Transformation Specialist

  • DTS Low Back Pain Specialist

  • DTS Conditioning Coach

  • DTS Kettlebell Coach
